best chaat masala powder

Popular in Indian cuisine, Chaat masala is a bold and flavorful spice blend that brings an irresistible tangy kick to your favorite dishes- chaat, papdi, bhel, or Indian curries.

Making your own chaat masala at home is easier than you think and gives you the freedom to customize the flavors to your liking. With just a handful of pantry spices, you can prepare a fresh and aromatic batch in minutes.

Plus, it’s a great way to ensure you’re using the freshest ingredients without relying on store-bought blends.

I have used roasted cumin powder for making this masala and that’s the only spice I like roasted (hence a dark shade of chaat masala). Rest were kept in the sun for an hr. I enjoy my shakarkandi chaat, makhana chaat, or chole with this spice blend.
