After Rave Reviews, Michael B Jordan’s Sinners Set To Release Across 3,400 Locations

Michael B Jordan’s new horror film, Sinners, has already bagged a perfect 100 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes, after positive first reactions from critics. Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, Sinners is a 1930s vampire film focused on twin brothers who find themselves against an evil force waiting for them back in their hometown. Joining others in the cast are Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Jayme Lawson, Li Jun Li, and Miles Caton .
After receiving positive responses to Jordan’s impressive performances as well as a brilliant soundtrack by Ludwig Göransson, Sinners is now gearing up to get one of the biggest theatrical releases.
According to the data released by The Numbers, the horror movie is expected to arrive in approximately 3,400 locations across the US upon theatrical release. In addition to that, early box office tracking of the film indicated a higher score for Sinners than Mickey 17, thus dropping major hints of it becoming a box office hit.
The update comes at a time when Sinners has gotten an early set of reviews from critics who noted how Coogler has managed to create a “stirring and entertaining film” by blending genres. Critic Hoai-Tran Bui wrote, “SINNERS is a MOMENT. Ryan Coogler takes the vampire movie and gives it a brawny update in a sexy, soulful, explosive crowd-pleaser. This feels like the next step in the evolution of Black horror. MBJ is so fun in dual roles, but Miles Caton is the real discovery.”

Critic Karl Delossantos was all praises for Jordan’s “sensational” performance, calling Sinners “the best movie of the year.”
Following Mickey 17’s underperformance at the opening weekend, the early tracking reports seem to show positive indications for Warner Bros.
