Sunny Deol’s action-packed drama Jaat is maintaining a decent pace at the box office, though it’s yet to recreate the storm his last blockbuster Gadar 2 did. After opening to a decent response, the film showed a slight dip on Day 2. According to the latest figures from Sacnilk.com, Jaat earned Rs 7 crore on Saturday, bringing its two-day total to Rs 16.5 crore.
On its opening day, Jaat collected Rs 9.5 crore. While it was expected that the film might see some upward momentum on its second day, it has instead settled into a steady but unspectacular rhythm. The report also mentioned that the film saw a 9.10% Hindi occupancy on Friday, suggesting that footfall may need a boost over the weekend if Jaat hopes to make a significant impact.

At a recent event, Hema Malini and Esha Deol voiced their support for Sunny and expressed optimism about the film’s success. “I heard that it has opened with a very big bumper. Bohot hi achcha lag raha he ki logo ko bohot achcha lag raha hai. Dharam ji bohot khush hai. Mujhe bhi bohot khushi hai (I feel so happy that people are happy with the film. Dharam ji is also very happy),” said Hema, beaming with pride.
Jaat is a collaborative production between People Media Factory and Mythri Movie Makers. Alongside Sunny Deol, the film features Saiyami Kher, Randeep Hooda, and Vineet Kumar Singh in pivotal roles.
The film has received praise for its nostalgic masala action. According to News18’s review, “Jaat kicks off with full josh.
