Carthusia Intenso di Nero ~ new fragrance :: Now Smell This
Italian niche brand Carthusia has launched Nero, a new addition to the Intenso collection.
Intenso di Nero explores the deepest and most magnetic side of the Intenso Collection. An enveloping composition built around contrasts of light and darkness, where fruits, spices, woods and gourmand notes converge around the richness of Oud.
The opening is bold and unexpected. Saffron introduces a precious, spicy tension, while Cassis brings a dark, fruity nuance. Chocolate completes the accord with an intense, textural note, creating a rich, deep and immediately distinctive opening.
At the heart, the composition becomes more complex and multifaceted. Rose meets Spices and Woods, while delicate floral and fruity accents weave through the structure, creating a balance between sensuality and depth. An intense, refined heart, rich in contrasts.
In the base, Oud reveals its full elegance. Its most precious facets intertwine with the sweetness of Tonka Bean Absolute, the sensuality of Vanilla Absolute and the resinous warmth of Benzoin. The fragrance settles on the skin, leaving a warm, velvety and lingering trail.
