For The 600th Episode Of Love At First Scent

For the 600th episode of my Love At First Scent series, I was joined in the virtual studio by a very special guest: Patricia De Nicolai, founder of her eponymous brand, member of the Guerlain family, recipient of France’s Chevalier De La Legion D’Honneur award, former president of the Osmotheque, and creator of some truly beloved perfumes, including New York, Patchouli, Fig-Tea and Bois Belize. In our chat, she discussed her views on the current state of the industry, her thoughts on young perfumers, and the process of composing her recent Harrods exclusive, Patchouli Spirit. Putting the interview aside for a moment, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every single one of you for helping me make it to episode 600. The very first instalment of Love At First Scent was broadcast in April 2017 (I can’t quite believe that!) and there is no way the series would have lasted as long as it has without your kindness, generosity and infectious enthusiasm for the endlessly fascinating world of scent.
