Rihanna and her longtime boyfriend A$AP Rocky have been in a relationship for a while now. With rumours about the couple’s much-awaited wedding making rounds on the internet, A$AP Rocky could not help but express his love and admiration for Rihanna. In a recent interview, the D.M.B. rapper opened up on Rihanna’s January 2022 pregnancy photoshoot.
Rihanna’s pictures from the photoshoot significantly surprised everyone with the singer flaunting her baby bump in a bright pink jacket with low-rise jeans. Reflecting on the picture, Rocky shared how pretty she looked while carrying her first child, son RZA.
“My girl, even though she’s from Barbados, she looks like she’s from the Bx, she looks like she braids hair on the weekends. My girl, she’s rocking that pink with them denim and she’s got her jewels just going, and she looks pretty and happy,” he gushed while speaking to Vogue.
On being asked about featuring Rihanna in his 2013 Fashion Killa music video, the rapper said that she was herself enthusiastic about being his muse. “I just liked the rawness and anything that felt like authenticity. I just hit up the flyest chick that I knew,” he said.
Recalling his conversation with Rihanna back then, Rocky added, “I was like ‘Riri, what’s good? You gonna do this video with me? I got the perfect song, it’s called “Fashion Killa.” I’m basically talking about you. I dropped your name in it and all.’ I ain’t even have to say all that. She was like, ‘Gang, I got you.'” He went on to sweetly add how Rihanna knew “she was my boo back then too. I’m gonna come clean.”
The remarks come at a time when fans believed that the couple had been guessing about their marital status, with Rihanna even launching a bridal lingerie collection. The couple is yet to announce their engagement or marriage.
The speculations stem from the singer’s bridal lingerie collection, with a show-stopping display where she posed for a new photo shoot. While Rihanna’s pictures in baby pink lingerie have already created a buzz on the internet, she further added fuel to the secret wedding rumours by sporting a sparkling diamond ring on her finger. Fans have been all excited, guessing if the couple is gearing up to get married or might have already gotten hitched in secret.
After sparking dating rumours in late 2019, Rihanna and Rocky confirmed their relationship in 2020 and have been together ever since. They are parents to two children, welcoming their first kid in 2022 and their second in 2023.
