Wamiqa Gabbi is all set to star opposite Rajkummar Rao in the upcoming romantic comedy, Bhool Chuk Maaf. The film is set to release next month, but the trailer has already created a lot of buzz. The trailer was launched this week with the team gracing the event in style. One of the paparazzi videos showed the cast posing together. But what caught fans’ attention was a brief interaction between Wamiqa and Zakir Hussain, who plays her onscreen father.

However, what truly caught fans’ attention was a heartwarming moment between Wamiqa and veteran actor Zakir Hussain, who plays her on-screen father in the film. In the clip, while the team took their position to pose, Zakir Husain stood beside Wamiqa and casually kept his hand on her shoulder. The actress quickly reacted saying, “Baal mat Kharab Karo Papa. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Varanasi, Bhool Chuk Maaf follows the story of Ranjan (Rajkummar Rao), a hopeful groom eager to win over Titli (Wamiqa Gabbi) and her entire family by securing a government job. With the wedding date already locked in, Ranjan is racing against time to land the position—but destiny has other plans. Just as the wedding festivities kick off, Ranjan finds himself stuck in an unexpected and bizarre situation: a time loop. While he quickly realizes what’s happening, everyone around him including Titli remains blissfully unaware. What follows is a rollercoaster of confusion, chaos, and comical moments as Ranjan tries to break free from the loop and set things right.
Karan Sharma directed and wrote this romantic comedy. Bhool Chuk Maaf is produced by Dinesh Vijan, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and also stars also stars Sanjay Mishra, Seema Bhargava Pahwa, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, Anubha Fateh Puria, Jay Thakkar and Pragati Mishra in the pivotal roles.
Wamiqa Gabbi is widely known for her role in Jubilee which was released in 2023. It also features Nandish Singh Sandhu, Shweta Basu Prasad, Madhu Sachdeva, Sidhant Gupta, and others in significant roles. Set in the pre-independence era, Wamiqa, played the role of Niloufer in the 10-episode series.
