Friday scent of the day 7/11 :: Now Smell This

Happy Friday! It’s also Free Slurpee from 7-Eleven day, plus World Population Day (that would be about 8.2 billion). Birthdays: James Abbott McNeill Whistler, EB White, Jhumpa Lahiri. Our community project for today: imagine you are an astronaut and you’ve just returned to earth after nine months in space. What scent did you miss most, and what perfume would you reach for? What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.

I think what I would miss the most is the smell of real flowers, so I’m in the perfume from my collection that smells the most like real flowers: Aftelier Candide. (My runners up, but I have only a few drops left of each, would be CB I Hate Perfume On A Clear Day You Can See Forever or April Aromatics Jasmina; if I still had any at all I would have considered Hiram Green Moon Bloom.)
