For the unversed, Kareena and Faraz share a long-standing association, with the former having represented his brand multiple times in the past. The designer, who hails from Pakistan and has a luxury store in Dubai, has shared numerous photos with the Indian superstar on his Instagram Story.
Kareena Kapoor was clicked at the airport on Sunday, April 27. While her travel destination isn’t known, it is likely the actor is in Dubai and that the photos are from her recent outing. It’s also worth noting that Kareena was in Dubai earlier this month for a brand-related event. It could also be that the photos were clicked during her time in the UAE. News18 was unable to verify the timing of the photos.
In the viral photos, the Jab We Met star was seen wearing a linen co-ord set with kohl-lined eyes for her dinner with Faraz and others at a plush restaurant in Dubai. Here are the pictures:
Faraz Manan has had many Indian celebs on his clientele, however, Kareena tops the list. In a throwback interview, the designer spoke about his friendship with the Chameli actor. He mentioned that he first started working for her sister, Karisma Kapoor, and his friendship with Kareena evolved from there. The designer told Elle, “We actually started working with Karisma Kapoor a few years ago, and after a while, we naturally started working with Kareena. The sisters are very close, and are quite similar in terms of their tastes and habits. Kareena and I bond over our traditions, family values and love for food. I recall when we did our very first shoot together in Jaipur, we were both scheduled to leave for home the very next day. Just before boarding, we both realised that we wanted to stay back for another day, relax and indulge in Rajasthani food. So we did. And that’s how we became friends from day one.”
For the unversed, Faraz Manan started his career in 2003, mainly catering to rich Pakistani families with his luxury bridal wears. With increased popularity, Faraz found himself designing clothes for Indian actors like Sridevi, Ranbir Kapoor. The fashion designer has also dressed Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
