As the last of this summer’s edit ships out, every spritz in the curated box offers an evocative snapshot of the season. Yes, absolutely, they were put together as fragrances designed to lift spirits right now, but we think you’ll agree they also to serve as sparkling reminders of balmy nights and laughter-filled days when the weather inevitably turns the corner into Autumn.
Okay, yes, we must admit it HAS been a better summer than many recent years, here in the U.K. But are we alone in wanting to cling on to summer a little longer yet? Luckily, these perfumes are glorious pleasures that will see you through the shifting moods of autumn and beyond. Why not try a differing scent each morning, adding warmth to rainier days, or simply allowing you to bask for a moment in remembered sunshine, when the inevitable opaque tights make a reappearance (but don’t even think about it, yet!)

While we still can, let’s take a stroll into fragrant adventure starting with a sample of Adscenture Secret Garden, its coconut and juicy peach effortlessly conjuring secret lawns and late-afternoon reveries, all softened with frangipani and jasmine. Mint & Tonic from Atkinsons brings immediate sharpness, sparkling with grapefruit and ginger for a modern citrus twist, underpinned by cooling mint and fresh cedar. Floris Purple Memoire, meanwhile, feels like a love note to English gardens, blending lavender, bergamot and ylang ylang on a subtle base of sandalwood and tonka, a delicate, powdery homage to nostalgia.
The ever-popular Molton Brown Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel delivers a bracing breath of sea air, fig leaf and cardamom giving way to marine notes, smoky leather and a salty vetiver finish. Delina Exclusif by Parfums de Marly, with its damask rose heart, pear and lychee, is a softly mysterious companion for your balmiest evenings, its trail of vanilla and Evernyl promising to whisper on skin way past sunset.
Juicy grapefruit collides with neroli and cedar in Shay & Blue Cedarwood Grapefruit for a chilled, understated cool, and Sarah Baker Peach’s Revenge gives peach a grown-up twist with guava, amaretto, spices and orris. Vanilla, amber and musks add a layer of drama, summer sweetness tempered with a mischievous edge.
Famed fashion brand Superdry Super Real 02 is presented in ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ versions, and you’ll receive ONE of these samples randomly selected for you (though we know many a subscriber who enjoys wearing both). We always say, wear what you love, don’t worry about ‘who it’s for’! In For Him, pineapple, spice, fig milk and marine notes wrap tonka bean in quiet strength; while For Women blends bergamot, green mandarin, orange blossom and woods which settle into playfully sophisticated warmth. Both feel like well-loved t-shirts, wearable and relaxed all summer and beyond. Taking a more opulent turn, Thomas de Monaco’s Ultima Storia winds you through Italian lemon groves, almond and coffee, the richness of leather and powder drifting in like a Roman afternoon.
Rounding out the box is a full-size Weleda Vitality Cream Body Wash, its orange and grapefruit buoyed by sea buckthorn oil, a creamy burst of vitamin-rich freshness, perfect morning or night. Quarterly Subscription £21 for a single box – A super flexible rolling contract.You will be charged every three months, but the subscription can be cancelled at any time up to 48 hours before the launch dates for future boxes (see below). £78 for a Yearly Subscription – a great saving on all four boxes. Boxes are only available in the UK. Postal charges are usually free but may be incurred at checkout depending on your postcode.
