Neil Morris Fragrances is releasing its second perfume in the Radiance Trilogy. This series was born of a personal and profound event for independent artisan perfumer Neil Morris. It was a moment in time that stood still, but with vivid memories of complete surrender, love, peace, and acceptance. It is an honor to experience these fragrant creations from his life-altering experience.

“The indescribable Peace-Between-Worlds is like being hugged by every Mother on Earth – at the same time!” – Neil Morris
Knowing that Suspended in Glass was born from Mr. Morris’s experience changed how I observed it as I wore it-his olfactive translation of what happens when everything is distilled to what matters most. I explored Neil Morris Fragrances Suspended in Glass on a day I needed something special to hold a fragile moment, it did more than keep that moment for me, it sanctified it. I was handed back something important that I had long forgotten. The opening arrives bright and fresh, with an ozonic calm like the air after rain, when everything feels fresh and new. A hint of floral fantasy, rich with an aldehydic character, edges into the top notes, precise and green, not sweet but refining. It was as if my mind, which had earlier been foggy, had been wiped clean, and the radiance had my permission to come through.

Neil Morris Fragrances Suspended in Glass felt like the middle of an event where everything slows and becomes more precise. Rising together, the lotus blossom and purple hyacinth are aquatic and luminous, like flowers seen through a pool of diffused light. They are delicate, but they carry weight because they are memories of a feeling, tender in a way that brings a catch to my throat. White jasmine weaves through with care, warm, and creamy without becoming too sweet. I get another floral note that leans woody, an unexpected anchor that keeps the bouquet from drifting into softness. It adds texture and a sense of touch, as if the flowers have been pressed and preserved.

As Suspended in Glass settles, it moves toward a radiant, grounded base. An amber accord comes in with a golden warmth, rich but never growing heavy, like sunlight gathered under glass. Musk brings balance, it feels like skin. At times, I think the scent is not on me but of me, an echo of my own breath. The clarity and cool facets from the opening continue to whisper through, so the composition never tips into overpowering. Instead, it becomes integrated, a portrait of remembrance that is both clear and generous.
Wearing Suspended in Glass feels like stepping into a story in which the star has been irrevocably altered, and it reads like the reflective center of that arc. If the first chapter announces arrival and the third will offer release or reckoning, this one is the suspended moment in between, where time thins and everything real and possible mingles. It is a reminder that profound encounters can fracture us and also reassemble us into something clearer. It invites attention and rewards those who are willing to feel. I noticed the scent most in the quiet moments of my day. Folding laundry and standing at the window as the evening light faded, the perfume carved out a little sanctuary around me, a place where the ordinary is held with reverence.

Suspended in Glass is for those who want to remember who they are, where they have been, and want to be cradled by a scent that respects silence and a luminous feeling. It comforts rather than consoles, it clarifies rather than simplifies. If you are curious about how altering moments of life can be translated into perfume, this is an eloquent example. The notes are clear and intentional, each one chosen to make a particular experience wearable. It invited me to slow down, to notice the small, miraculous moments that stitch a life together. I felt held without expectation, softer as I carried a fierce thread of love for whatever comes next. That is what I find inspiring about it. It offers a way to make the aftermath of an intense event something tender and beautiful, and for a time, entirely preserved.
Notes: citrus floral accord, aquatic accord, aldehydic accord, lotus blossom, purple hyacinth, jasmine accord, woody floral accord, amber accord, white musk accord.
