Newmor Wallcoverings launches extensive Marine Collection • Hotel Designs

Newmor Wallcoverings has introduced its new Marine Collection, a robust portfolio of IMO-certified wallcoverings and architectural films created specifically for cruise ships, yachts, and ferries. Designed to meet the complex demands of marine environments, the range brings together aesthetic sophistication, performance-driven materials, and full regulatory compliance in one of the most comprehensive marine-specific offerings currently available to the market.

Comprising 78 stocked products – including 48 adapted wallcoverings and 30 new architectural films – the collection highlights Newmor’s focus on innovation and tailored solutions for specialist sectors. All products are manufactured and stocked in the UK to ensure quick lead times for both new-build and refurbishment projects.

The wallcovering range draws from eight of Newmor’s most successful standard collections, each re-engineered to meet marine specifications without compromising on visual appeal. These include:

• Tweel: evokes traditional tweed with a woollen aesthetic and natural dye tones.

• Raya: features vertical silk embossing, mimicking woven slubs in muted metallics.

• Peloso Panthera: a leather-effect collection enhanced with leopard print and mica pigments.

• Shagreen: deeply textured with a tip-print shimmer, celebrating handcrafted materiality.

• Carrara: a contemporary marble effect with metallic veining.

• Rebus: industrial textures referencing worn leather, stone, and charred wood.

• Brushed Steel: a metallic finish with an embossed industrial metal texture.

Each design balances high visual impact with practical benefits – products are durable, washable, scrubbable, and resistant to chlorine-based cleaning agents, making them ideally suited for high-traffic hospitality settings at sea.

Alongside the wallcoverings, Newmor has unveiled five new architectural film collections, offering 30 textured designs with material-like finishes ideal for vertical surfaces, panels, and even furniture:

• Alloy: sleek metallic finishes with an industrial edge.

• Edifice: monumental marble-inspired surfaces.

• Pren: organic wood effects, named after the Welsh word for “wood.”

• Sandstone: mineral-inspired textures with a granular, tactile finish.

• Timber: subtle woodgrain patterns that introduce natural warmth.

These film collections offer a refined palette and textural depth while maintaining the robust performance expected in marine applications.
