UK: Hotel and wellness provider The Nirvana Collection has opened West Court Retreat, a boutique hotel set within 20 acres of countryside in Berkshire.

Housed within a Grade II-listed manor house from the 17th century, West Court Retreat offers a range of accommodation types including 11 suites or deluxe rooms and 38 double or twin rooms in the officers’ wing.

The building had previously been used as a Secret Service training base and later as an Officers’ Mess for the Corps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.

F&B venues include The Dining Room which serves an international menu, while The Glasshouse, built on the site of the original estate greenhouse, focuses on seasonal produce from the kitchen garden. The hotel also features a cocktail bar called the Devil’s Highway Bar.

Facilities include a gym, spa treatment rooms, an outdoor pool, and countryside walking routes. A complimentary shuttle service links the hotel to Nirvana Spa for additional wellness packages.

The Nirvana Collection is a family-owned business which owns the Nirvana Spa and Gym 108. West Court Retreat is the group’s first hotel.
