A 64-year-old Wisconsin man was arrested after a young girl accused him of allegedly sexually assaulting her for several years and holding her in a basement on several occasions. The man, arrested on April 26, allegedly assaulted two girls—both minors—during the abuse.
According to a report by People, the incident came to light after one of the victims told her foster parent about the alleged incident, who later reported it to police.
The accused, identified as David Boyd, allegedly not only sexually assaulted one of the victims but also inflicted injuries on various parts of her body, including her private parts.
One of the girls claimed that the abuse allegedly started in 2020 and continued until 2024. She revealed that on one occasion, she was allegedly taken to his home in Milwaukee, where he tied her with a chain to a pole in the basement, as per the complaint report cited by People.
The girl was allegedly given only one piece of bread to eat and had to drink water from a puddle on the ground. According to the complaint accessed by People, she also detailed her surroundings through a sketch.
The man, who the girl claimed was their grand-godmother’s boyfriend, also trafficked her to other men. On one occasion, he even allegedly asked the girl to choose the order in which the men would assault her.
Meanwhile, the girl’s sister—one of the two victims—alleged that she was sexually assaulted since 2015 when she was 5 years old. The abuse allegedly continued until she was 12, when she moved away.
Investigators have found knives and hooked chains hanging from the ceiling of his basement, as per the report.
Boyd has been charged with two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child, one count of child abuse, one count of false imprisonment, one count of child trafficking, and one count of use of a dangerous weapon.
