Yashvardhan Ahuja, son of legendary actor Govinda, makes heads turn wherever he goes. In a recent appearance, he was seen heading home after attending Himesh Reshamiya’s Cap Mania Tour concert in Mumbai on Saturday. The soon-to-be actor was all smiles as he exited the venue after what seemed a fun night. Joined by his friends, he aced street style fashion in a printed vibrant orange shirt which he kept unbuttoned and olive green cargo pants.
Before leaving the spot, Yashvardhan also greeted the paparazzi, smiling and waving at them in a sweet gesture. A true gentleman, he ensured his friends were safe while crossing the road, holding their hands and taking them towards the car.
Yashvardhan Ahuja was recently in the headlines for the controversy around his much-awaited debut project. The film, a Hindi adaptation of the Telugu hit Baby, was said to mark his entry into the Hindi film industry. However, its production was put on hold as things took a messy turn after Babil Khan who was expected to play a key role in the film, walked out due to a clash with director Sai Rajesh. Babil’s exit from the film, followed by an emotional outburst on social media, was criticised by Rajesh who allegedly insisted on a public apology from the actor.
As per a report by Peeping Moon, the Hindi remake of Baby is currently on pause as the producers actively look for a new actor to replace Babil. The portal also cited a source as saying, “The makers spent nearly six months finalising the female lead, a debutante, and now face the daunting task of recasting the male lead. It’s going to take a lot of time. As of now, the production is on hold, with no confirmed timeline for resuming.”
Produced by Madhu Mantena in collaboration with Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts and the original Telugu film’s producer, Sreenivasa Kumar Naidu, the Hindi remake of Baby was expected to feature Babil Khan and Yashvardhan Ahuja as the lead duo. Yashvardhan was roped in to portray the character played by Viraj Ashwin in the original version.
Interestingly, Yashvardhan landed his debut film with Sai Rajesh after auditioning for nine years.
