Following Father’s Passing

Aamir Khan and his mother, Zeenat Hussain, paid their respects to his ex-wife, Reena Dutta, on Wednesday following the recent passing of her father. The visit was captured in several videos and photos that circulated on social media.

Aamir and Reena Dutta were married in 1986 and have two children together, Ira and Junaid Khan. They divorced in 2002. Aamir later married Kiran Rao in 2005, but the couple parted ways in 2021.

In an earlier interview with Zoom, Kiran Rao expressed her admiration for Reena, stating that she has always been a part of the family. “Reena never left the family,” Kiran said. “She was a part of the family when I got married, and we became really good friends because she is an incredible human-being.”

Aamir Khan also shared a humorous anecdote about Reena during an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. He recalled a time when he attempted to teach her breathing exercises while she was in labor, which resulted in a playful slap from Reena.

Aamir Khan’s recent film, Laal Singh Chadha, unfortunately underperformed at the box office. He is currently working on the film Sitaare Zameen Par and producing Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The latter features Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and others.
