Singham Again Box Office: A Close Race with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3
Rohit Shetty’s much-anticipated action drama, Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor, hit the theaters on Friday. While the film was expected to dominate the box office, it seems to be facing a tougher-than-anticipated challenge from Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Early trade estimates suggest that Singham Again has opened to a “good start” but may struggle to match the initial momentum of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film is projected to earn between Rs 35-40 crore on its opening day, depending on word-of-mouth.
While Singham Again has taken a significant lead in key markets like Mumbai, Rajasthan, and Odisha, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has emerged as the clear winner in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The neck-and-neck race between the two films has kept the industry on edge.
As of Friday afternoon, Singham Again has netted Rs 16.27 crore, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has collected Rs 12.96 crore. Despite releasing on more screens, Singham Again is yet to establish a substantial lead.
Both films have benefited from the national holiday on Friday, with evening and night shows expected to play a crucial role in determining the final box office numbers.
