Une Nuit Nomade Shade of Blue ~ new fragrance :: Now Smell This
Luxury body care and fragrance line Une Nuit Nomade has introduced Shade of Blue, a new fragrance.
On the Valensole plateau, as daylight withdraws, the mauve spikes turn a cool blue and the air becomes velvety. The in-between light of dusk blends deep night blue with the iridescent sheen of the slender stems. At times, the sun lingers, casting its liquid gold over the flowering fields, warming their aromatic notes.
A few notes of Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue are enough to turn this moment into pure grace.
‘Shade of Blue’ is a fragrance of contrasts — lavender captured at the exact moment the sun dips below the horizon, when its powdery freshness grows rounder, almost caramelised.

Bergamot leads the way, fresh and citrusy, with resinous myrrh sitting underneath. At the heart is lavender in three forms, floral and herbal, with lavandin adding a sharp, slightly camphorous edge. Tonka bean gradually softens it, and caramel rounds it all out into something creamy without going too gourmand. An aromatic, softly sweet fragrance that brings to mind lavender fields at dusk in late summer.
