Reddit users also pointed out how Salman Khan has merged fiction with reality in many of his films and cameo appearances. A user recalled the superstar’s crisp role in Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and wrote, “When Ranbir’s character gets nervous seeing Salman Khan and starts babbling, Salman says, ‘Tu aise darr raha hai jaise meri girlfriend ko apni girlfriend bata raha ho’. Such a good reference lol,” adding fuel to his dating speculations with Katrina back in the day.
Yet another user wrote about his cameo Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, featuring now-married Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. The user noted, “Even better, was Salman Khan guest appearances in Dhai Akshar Pyar ke, where Sallu plays truck driver gives lift to Abhishek Bachchan to woo Aishwarya Rai.” A third user shared how fewer good films are being made today and the audience has to make-do with the good movies that were made back in the day. “Exactly we rejected some movies back in the days, called them shitty/cringe/bakwas for a reason.. today when we are left with few good new movies doesn’t makes the same movies peak cinema.. having said that ofcourse there are underrated gems bt aajkal kuch zyada hi ho raha hai,” the netizen posted.
