Delhi Capitals faced Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their ninth league match of IPL 2025 on Sunday (April 27) at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, and during the second half of the game that RCB won by six wickets, batting superstar Virat Kohli was seen getting in a heated argument with KL Rahul.
Several videos of the heated verbal battle between the two were shared by fans on X, and in no time, the clips went viral on the internet.
Kohli scored his sixth half-century of the ongoing season on Sunday to help RCB beat Delhi Capitals by 6 wickets on Sunday. The 36-year-old right-handed batter faced 47 balls and, with the help of four fours, scored 51 runs. He added 119 runs for the fourth wicket with Krunal Pandya. The left-handed bowling all-rounder from Baroda remained unbeaten on 73 runs from 47 balls. For his super show with the bat and ball, Krunal won the Player of the Match award.
The 51-run knock on Sunday in Delhi also helped Kohli extend his tally of runs to 443 in IPL 2025, and he now leads the Orange Cap race. Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav is second on the list with 427 runs to his name in 10 matches, and GT’s Sai Sudharsan (417 runs in eight matches) takes the third spot.
The win over DC at Feroz Shah Kotla helped RCB maintain their perfect win record away from home in IPL 2025. With 14 points from 10 matches played so far, the Rajat Patidar-led side sits at the top of the IPL 2025 points table.

Rahul has been on fire for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025, and on Sunday as well, he top-scored for the Axar Patel-led side. During his stay at the crease in Delhi, Rahul faced 39 balls and scored three centuries. His knock helped DC post a total of 162 runs on the board for the loss of eight wickets after Rajat Patidar invited the national capital-based franchise to bat first.
